"MR. E" was a short-lived photographic project and persona exploring the mystery of love and sex through cinema, performance and art. "Brock Doom" was also a short-lived (and AVN Award-nominated!) adult talent (i.e. male erotic model, performer and actor) persona that Ramzi Abed worked as when he acted, performed or modeled in front of the camera with his female co-stars and fellow models, performers and actors. Both personas were retired in 2020, with erotic art, performance and filmmaking still remaining a part of Ramzi Abed's ongoing work, but now focused primarily and wholly on making art. These books are remnants of the transition created between both the mainstream art and erotic art worlds while shedding a romantic light on the subject matter in the combined style of both punk rock and film noir, two of Abed's primary influences. In 2023, Abed has two new mainstream feature films completed and ready to premiere at film festivals.
