    About the Book

    Edit

A collection of stories written between the mid-1970s and late 80s – with settings in both the USA and Europe. In slowly evolving images they tell of childhood and memory and aging – friendship, family and loss. In one story an old woman dreams of going somewhere on a white ship. In another, Laura doesn’t know why it is so hard to be alone on New Year’s Eve. In a third, Rosie while worrying about her animals comes face-to-face with an image from the past. In these and other stories, it is often the small moments in our lives that define their direction, and sometimes in very subtle ways.
