About the Book
The demolition of my house on the 4th March 2013 took with it the memories accumulated since 1968 when I moved into the place. I was attached to the property, and not to the house itself as it had been a woodland garden with a hundred tree ferns, fifty rhododendrons, and lots more. It was a retreat from the concrete jungle ! This volume covers eight months of demolitions and re-constructions whereas earlier volumes covered much shorter time periods, simply because one now lives in a small village in the country, but also because the pace of demolitions has slowed down.
