About the Book
South presents images of Argentina and her near neighbors, Uruguay and Chile. Included are photographs of the capital cities of Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Santiago. Also displayed are portraits of Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego and the Andean glacier lands. Finally, the Argentine Far North near Bolivia—the World Heritage quebrada or “broken land”—is illustrated. Neither a systematic nor encyclopedic record of all and everything in this vast region, South presents personal impressions that caught the eye along the way. All photographs were made in the Southern winter of 2012.
