About the Book
'Friends Forever' is the true story of Edythe and Frances Hanson, two remarkable sisters whose family history began with their parent's migration from Norway to North Dakota, then settlement on the Saskatchewan prairies in the early 1900s. Told through a granddaughter's eyes, the photographs and stories in this book provide insight into the lives and times of these two extraordinary sisters who lived a century under prairie skies, and who remained 'friends forever'.
