About the Book
This book was created for an exhibition 'Passage' in which I used paper and natural fibres to explore my relationship with the tidal zones of Moreton Bay.
My Dad was a passionate fisherman so during my childhood my family spent every Sunday boating on Moreton Bay. I’ve used these memories to connect my current art practice to the mangroves, mud flats and sand of local areas such as Cabbage Tree Creek and Moreton Island.
'Collected Moments' describes my journey revisiting my childhood perceptions and experiences in Moreton Bay.

About the Creator
Sandra Pearce
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
I’m a maker of artist books, printed imagery and paper installations incorporating distinctive textural and colourful monoprinting techniques. My work examines the notion of boundaries, domestication, and the manipulation of landscape, focussing on nature-human conflicts. I’m particularly interested in the impact of urbanisation on the biodiversity of native wildlife and plants.
