About the Book
This book provides a record of the fragile way of life of the indigenous peoples who have inhabited the Omo Valley in Ethiopia for centuries. These people, whose population is estimated at 200,000, are now threatened by climate change, including recurrent droughts and floods, government development and construction, and the influx of modern customs and goods, which are inevitably changing how they live, and how the lives they have lived are being forever changed.
