It has been prepared in conjunction with her one person exhibition at the Museum of Anthropology of Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, June 28 to August 4, 2013. The exhibition was untitled "Crónicas de la Tierra" or "Earth Chronicles". An version in Spanish of the same catalogue is available on Blurb under the title Crónicas de la Tierra.

Arielle Masson González nació en La Ciudad de México en 1961.Estudio el dibujo en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Visuales de Uccle, Bruselas, Bélgica entre 1975-78. Se graduó con una Maestría de Literatura Hispano Americana en La Sorbona III, Paris, Francia en 1984. Luego de mudarse a Houston, Texas, EE.UU en 1987, se graduó con una Maestría de Bellas Artes en La Universidad de Houston, Texas, en 1990. Obtuvo la Beca del Core Fellowship Program, de la Escuela Del Museo de Fine Arts, Houston, The Glassell School of Art entre 1990-92. Recibió dos Becas del Cultural Arts Council of Houston en 1997 y en 2003. Estuvo en residencia en La Casa de Dora Maar, Menerbes, Francia a través del programa de la Brown Foundation Fellows en 2007. También, concibió y dio un seminario de arte contemporáneo para la Fundación Cruz Diez en 2011. En 2012 estuvo en residencia en Arquetopia, en Oaxaca.
