About the Book
Crabs of Kosrae is a journal style book of crab drawings and interesting observations about the crabs seen on the beaches, lagoons, lawns and mangroves of Kosrae, a Pacific Island in Micronesia. Kosrae is a high island, 42 square miles, with a population of approximately 8,000. The author and her husband spent two years working in Kosrae, living on the coast, on a lagoon surrounded by a coral reef and keeping a crab journal.
