About the Book
We are very fortunate to have many different species of wildlife visit us where we live in the Gold Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia. Many of the birds in this book are daily visitors and generally speaking are wild. Some of the photos are of birds we have rescued, rehabbed and released over the years and who have since made our home their home and other photos are simply of birds with an injury that use our place as a sort of refuge where they can always find something to eat and drink, especially in the drought periods which hit us from time to time. This book contains 48 pages of photos of some of our visitors.

About the Creator
Dani Katz
Nerang, Queensland, Australia
I rediscovered photography after a massive heart attack in 2007 whilst helping my wife look after injured birds. Taking photos of the various wildlife, including birds, that visit us regularly was a natural progression. Following some 'prompting' from some friends I have started to create some photo books to highlight the wildlife that visit us.
