A few months back (summer 2008), Gretchen and Miranda were talking about some great family recipes when Miranda suggested that they should send out a call for recipes to the Olt and Shumaker families and put them all together in one cookbook. The call did go out and many fellow Foodies replied. The responses were overwhelming and have filled the pages of this cookbook. The response has been so great, that Volume II is rumored to be in the works for 2009.
