About the Book
Marion Virginia Ross was born in Carthage, Missouri, in 1906. Using family memories and photos plus archival postcards, her daughter describes Marion's growing-up in Carthage, her adventurous trip west in 1921, her years at Park College and Columbia University, and her teaching at Castle School and Bacone College. This provides rich portraits of her life from her birth until her marriage in 1933 to Francis Fardig.
