About the Book
Anyone who has raised children knows the diligence, the patience, and the sacrifice that one must embark on this life skill in order to raise children who are independent individuals, deeply rooted in family, faith, and fellowship. Tony & Carrie Kuehler did just that when they raised twelve children who became what I feel as the greatest generation of people in America, mainly for Rhineland and the worlds they encompassed.
Pop and Mom, as they were called by their twelve children, were a couple deeply rooted in their Catholic faith and totally committed to one another's love. They truly complemented one another - a symbosios.
Pop was a low-key simple man who worked hard from sun up to sun down and never cared to leave his little corner of the world in Rhineland while Mom was more of the adventure type, who urged Pop to buy farmland in the Plains that eventually helped start some of the Kuehler legacy there, also.
They raised their children with a sense of pride in one's self, one another, one's country, and one's religion. It is with the determination and devotion that we, their descendants, were blessed to be a part of the greatest generation to ever have resided in Rhineland and lived in America.
As descendants, of this loving couple, we now have the duty and obligation to continue to strive to achieve our best as Grandpa & Grandma Kuehler instilled in the lives of their twelve children who then ingrained it in us - the 106 grandchildren of Tony & Carrie Kuehler.
