About the Book
Sal is a small dusty island in the Atlantic archipelago Cape Verde Islands.
For centuries known for one thing only...salt. The natural salt pan at Pedra de Lume provided the white powder. Not much happening there any more.
Later came the Italians and build the first international airport. A small hub in the Atlantic. No big change here.
But then came the hordes of European low budget tourists. In just a few years, the industry has exploded...and it's only the beginning.
The island has the perfect beach climate, absolutely no rain, constant temperatures, all day, all night, all year!
But it's not just drinks at the hotel pool in Santa Maria...see for Yourself.
