About the Book
This book is a collection of 18 short, humorous but factual stories about life in the Top End of Australia's Northern Territory from 1976 as well as 4 stories about fishing adventure in Canada, Brazil and Mongolia. All stories are about events and interesting people , some who no longer exist, as well places that have changed considerably over the years. In 2010 Gary was commissioned to write a Memoirs feature article for a fishing and outdoors magazine, his stories were so popular that he continues to write for the magazine today.

Has travelled extensively for nearly 40 years but greatest passion is his family and the bush. Living in the Top End since 1980 has allowed him to pursue his love of outdoor recreation with his family, the more remote the better, until his daughters grew up. Fishing and exploring wilderness areas continues to motivate him and occupies his time in retirement He has been writing for "NORTH AUSTRALIAN FISHING AND OUTDOORS" magazine for the past 5 years
