Sue is a very keen photographer, and a passionate hockey supporter. She has spent a life time in administration, coaching, and supporting her family through their own hockey careers. While in London for the Olympics she became the "unofficial foreign correspondent for the Northern Advocate, a daily newspaper based in Whangarei, New Zealand.
