About the Book
This is a coffee table picture book showcasing the jewel of Caribbean, the Dominican Republic. Explore the rich colonial past of Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata. Visit the lungs of the island through La Vega and the tobacco fields surrounding Santiago. The best white sand beaches of the Caribbean are in Playa Rincon and Bahia de las Aguilas, while not to be missed are the isolated pristine beaches of Samana Peninsula. Be amazed at the colorful wooden architectures of Barahona and Las Terrenas and be introduced to amber and crystal blue larimar stones.
While not to be missed are the prehistoric cave paintings of Los Haitises and take part at one of the country's Carnival celebration. Please go to http://www.blurb.com/user/pauldmariano to view all 346 pages full of vibrant images of Dominican Republic.
