About the Book
DO NOT ORDER - This book has been revised - see Second Edition.
What is family? Different sources have defined it as "a social unit living together"; "people descended from a common ancestor"; kin: a person having kinship with another or others"
This is a book about my family.
Originally, it started being centered around Ernest Redmile, illegitimate son of May Ann Redmile, born 1 July 1876. But as the project continued, and I gathered more information about people who, at some stage, joined and became part of our family because of marriage or adoption, I knew I had to drop the strict genealogy limitations and definitions of "family".
So this is a book about my family, unlimited.
