The House that Ruth Built—eighty-six years and twenty-six championships later, the Yankees have decided to bring an end to an era. Yankee Stadium has had countless historical events take place on its hallowed grounds. As a fan of the game of baseball and its historical nostalgia, paying Yankee Stadium a visit became a priority on my to-do-list.



All of a sudden, I realized that I had never set foot in Yankee Stadium—why would they even think about destroying this shrine? There are too many stories, too much history, too many great players, and now it is all coming to an end. A tour of this facility became my goal for the summer of 2008. On August 10th, with ticket and camera in hand, my tour began at exactly twelve o'clock noon.
