About the Book
Protanopia is the term used to describe people affected by protan colour blindness. People who have Protanopia have difficulty distinguishing between blue and green colours and also between red and green colours. It is hereditary, sex-linked, and present in 1% of all men.
The aim of this book is to visually emulate this condition through digital art. People who do not suffer from this condition will see two different colours in the following images, whereas Protanopia sufferers will see two identical images. Protanopia affects a large number of people and has rarely been explored through digital art.
These images have been digitally enhanced to the full spectrum of the colour wheel and act as a digital artistic representation.
