This is the third volume of live music photographs by the author and covers the year 1998. The book features photographs of nearly 70 musicians playing all kinds of music from rock, pop and folk to jazz and blues. The book also records the author's second visit to the New Orleans Jazz Festival where many celebrated jazz and blues musicians were performing including Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, Ruth Brown, Etta James, Jimmy McGriff, Benny Golson, Bonnie Raitt and Clarence Gatemouth Brown.

Born in Wales 1944. Gained Ph.D. in biochemistry at University of Wales, Cardiff in 1968 & joined Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Food in London in 1972. Appointed Chief Scientist (Food) in 1992 then took early retirement in 1996 to follow a new career. Keen amateur photographer from an early age & this developed into giving lectures to Photographic Societies & judging competitions including International Salons of Photography. Took up photography professionally in 1996. Specialized in live music photographing rock, blues & jazz concerts for Retna Pictures Ltd, an international picture agency. Went digital in 2002 & used a Nikon equipment for professional work. Now retired from music photography & living in Norfolk, England & working on his vast archive of images. Now uses Leica M rangefinder camera for personal photography.
