About the Book
As part of HAC Lab Pittsburgh: Imagining the Modern, a group of architecture students from Carnegie Mellon University conducted a studio in the largest gallery space in the Heinz Architectural Center. They developed contemporary design proposals for Allegheny Center, one of the major sites featured in the exhibition. Working in groups, the students arrived at three distinct solutions. Each proposal offers a different vision of the future and the means by which to get there.
