The kindergartners of Room 140 at High Tech Elementary Chula Vista know how special and valuable our oceans are, and we want to spread the word! We wrote this book as part of our project “The A-B-Seas: A Kindergarten Investigation of the Importance of Our Oceans." Through observations of ocean animals, field work, and nonfiction read alouds, our class explored the fascinating and diverse world beneath the sea and how it is being threatened by some human actions. We wrote this book to get others excited about the amazing life under the sea and raise awareness about the trouble it is facing.
