This handbook about our West Texas waters is designed to give information and directions to forty-five public lakes and small bodies of water within a 120 mile radius of Abilene, Texas. Several of these small hidden gems offer excellent opportunities for fishing from a float tube, a small boat, or a kayak. Also included within these pages are some of my specific experiences of tournament fishing on a few of these lakes and the spiritual truths that were reinforced again in my life.
