A photo journal of our safari adventure to Kenya & Tanzania in July 2016 during the Great Migration into the Masai Mara. Besides witnessing the thousands of wildebeest and zebras into that park we were fortunate to explore other parks offering great diversity in landscapes, animals, & people. Ol Pejeta Conservancy with Mt. Kenya and rhinos. Samburu with the Ewaso N'giro river and large herds of elephants besides other varieties of zebras. Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha with wonderful birdlife and hippos. Then a short flight to Tanzania to the Unescso world heritage park of Ngorngoro Crater. This is the largest caldera, 20km across the volcano with salt lakes and many different ecosystems. Then on to Tarangire with it's unique Baobab trees and elephants split by the Tarangire River which attracts many animals year round. Views of Kilimanjaro thrilled us flying both directions along with the warm friendship of both countries peoples will be in my heart forever.
