About the Book
A collection of photographs taken on a trip during the summer of 2004. It is what the photographer saw on his travels and recorded, not an attempt to document Guatemala.
The images focus on the surface beauty rather than on underlying turmoil, which has haunted the country for its entire existence--not only in its modern history, but throughout its colonial and pre-colonial eras.
