In 2012 under the guidance of CIO Richard Warner a new function was formed under the leadership of Rod Willmott, the newly created role of Director of Fast Track (Innovation), the goal to accelerate initiatives that kept getting stalled due to extended development lifecycles, traditional project approaches and heavy legacy demands on IT.
