About the Book
My previous book, “Fragmentations” explored the stereotypes the traveler sets upon his destination. This book, made in the same time period, is an intimate echo of that idea.
More than an assortment of pictures backing a concept, Boiling Point is a visual production that I associated with failure. Failure to truly connect with others and with myself, failure to seize opportunities of true discovery and, finally, failure to deal with the feeling of having failed. It evokes the blinding effect of negative mental states and their consequences on those around, may they be friends or complete strangers.
