About the Book
A photography book about Cambodia, its land and its people. A unique country with a very rich culture and the seat of the ancient Khmer civilization. It is a country that is slowly rising from the genocide of the Pol Pot regime which decimated close to 2 million people. The book shows its people who are dependent on their natural resources to make a living as they have a very small manufacturing base. Many children are street vendors and cannot afford to go to school. The lush rice fields all over the country provide the staple food in addition to the rivers and the ocean that supply the fish for the people. This book hopes to lure more travelers to this wondrous land.
