I was born in Yorkshire, raised in New Zealand, and lived in Australia. Having survived all that I decided to complete the circle and now I'm back in Yorkshire again. I like sewing but end up with scraps and bits of cotton thread and pins everywhere. I like woodworking but end up covered in glue and sawdust. I like baking but end up covered in flour. So I particularly like writing because it is also a way to create something and it doesn't leave a mess. I do it for fun. For money I work in a pub (but that is fun too). I have been lucky enough to share the lives of some gorgeous animals with colourful and unique personalities. I decided to write their stories down, not only to preserve my own memories of them, but also to share those memories with others. My animal friends were full of love and cheekiness and I hope their stories will warm the hearts of strangers just as they warmed mine.
