This little book was a gift from a mother to her young daughters during a time of personal crisis. It contains all the hopes, encouragement and wisdom that she wanted her daughters to remember in life. Composed in 1971, this version with unedited text and original scenic photographs has been made by one of the daughters to preserve and to share a personal treasure.

Currently running a boat kit business in WA, I have traveled the world on sea and land, living definite chapters of a colorful life. I returned to the continental US in 2009 and have several works that have been in the making over the years abroad and in moments before or after a long work day. I put this little book, "I have a Thousand Hopes" together for my mother who wrote it so long ago, to remind her that she has been a better mother than she gives herself credit for.I have used Blurb to create portfolios for my daughter as a chef and a model and I have an educational project in the works. I appreciate Blurbs quality and the option to keep some books, like work portfolios, for private publication.
