About the Book
Born into a lineage of architects and stained glass artisans, figurative sculptor Daniel Diehl was well aware of form and beauty at an early age. His work is influenced by Celtic art, Ancient Egyptian sculpture, Michelangelo, Amadeo Modigliani, Barbara Hepworth and Diego Rivera.
Daniel strives to create modern lines that imprint strength and beauty upon the soul of the viewer. He often uses the feminine form to achieve this effect in marble, alabaster or limestone. A native of Detroit and longtime resident of Boulder, Colorado, Daniel now lives in Petaluma, California.
