Born in the United Kingdom, Jonathan Smith has lived and worked in New York for 10 Years, where he studied at the prestigious International Center of Photography. For 8 years he worked side by side with internationally renowned photographer, Joel Meyerowitz, and has emerged in his own right as an award-winning photographer. He was recognized as a young photographer to watch in Photo District News’s coveted “30 under 30” competition, was a winner in Blurb's first "Photography Book Now competition" for his book "The Bridge Project" He has had his work exhibited in New York City and internationally.
Jonathan’s ability to be both unobtrusive, and yet finely-tuned, enables him to capture the beauty and spontaneous intimacy of those fleeting moments which we want to hold dear for eternity. His formal training and career in the fine art world make him unique in the field of wedding photography.
