About the Creator
Born in 1941 on the Massachusetts coast, the author moved to Vermont in 1976 to take a position as Director of Pulmonary Medicine at a local hospital. Being interested in law enforcment, he became a Sheriff's Deputy and worked as a part time patrol opfficer for Windham County for 18 years. When the family moved from Dummerstion to Vernon, he continued his law enforcment role as a K-9 Officer with the Vernon Police Department. His interest in emergency medicine led him to develop the first Paramedic Training Program in the state of Vermont. During his 5 years in that position, over 150 medics were trained from all over the US and from several other countries. He changed his occup[ation as a health care provider and teacher to become the global clinical research director of a large UK based medical device company. In 2005, he was involved in a serious auto accident and was forced into retirement. This is when an old favorite pastime, cooking, was revitalized. Cooking is now his focus.
