About
Jason Archer has been crafting and sewing since childhood. While working in the field of nursing, he became curious about the construction of lace wigs for medical alopecia patients. He originally studied under Marquetta Breslin in 2011. Later he received more training with John Yim. His background in nursing science and costume design prepared him well for the art of wig making.
In addition to private clients, Jason has consulted for major wig brands. He has also appeared as a guest instructor for Lace Wig University. Jason is particularly known for his natural looking hairlines, embellished wig caps, and innovative maintenance techniques.
Jason lives in the mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. When he isn’t working in the hospital, he is in his studio testing some new wig idea while trying to keep his cats off his worktable.
