Larry Cleon Christensen graduated from Brigham Young University in 1963 wih a B.A. in Mathematics, a M.S. in Mathematics from Central Michigan University 1968, and an Ed.D. Curriculum & Instructional Science from Brigham Young University in 1981.

He is married to Diane Gammon and has five children and twenty four grandchildren. He knows the names of all of them.
