About
I was born in Haiti and had lived there until the age of ten. After having emigrated here to the US, I've lived mostly in Boston, MA. I currently work full-time as a staff engineer for a heavy civil engineering consulting firm and freelance as an associate photographer for myself and various wedding agencies.
I first got started in photography through a media course in college back in 2017, and I’ve been photographing ever since.
My primary interest is street photography and candid portraits. Initially, I made portraits on the street by approaching strangers and asking permission to take their picture. Most times, I settle for a candid portrait.
I was very competitive as a kid and to some extent still am to this day. I treat street photography as a sport. Usually, a warm-up period is required, and once some momentum is established, occasionally, there is a very good shot among many forgettable ones. On most days, I fall into that elusive "Zen" state.
