Northeastern Kentucky Genealogical Research Services was established in January 2010 with the goal of providing accurate genealogical documentation quickly, efficiently, and in the most cost-effective manner possible, to researchers with ancestral roots in our service area who are unable to retrieve such documentation on their own.
Areas of Expertise
We utilize the world-class research facilities of the Kentucky Gateway Museum Center, County & Court Clerk Offices, local Historical Societies, and public libraries.
Professional Affiliations
After 30 years of employment with the Commonwealth of KY, James R. Columbia retired in 2012 as Manager of the Records and Research & Statistics Divisions of the Kentucky Court of Justice.
