About
Scott has been working in photography for more than 25 years, learning both B&W and color darkroom techniques from his Father.
In early 2000, he began his journey into fine art photography with large format cameras and in 2006 started using an 8"x10" and 7" x 17" camera. His vision is best defined as ‘abstract’ including both color and black and white work. His talents have earned him both commissioned work as well as successful juried exhibitions.
Recently, he worked for the prestigious Indigo Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. His color photography is displayed in the lobby and main floor of the hotel along with black and white work in more than 120 guest rooms. In addition, he was selected for a permanent display of the largest photograph in Arizona, a 30 foot by 25 foot mural which resides on the outside of the hotel entrance.
Scott recently won Second Place in a Best of Artists juried competition at Scottsdale Community College, being the first among photographs selected.
