Amateur photographer for ages, I discovered by chance this isolated piece of ice and lava in the North Atlantic as a volcanic substitute for faraway countries where I used to go.
Since then I’ve never quit – at least my mind has not.
I felt in love with this land of solitary freedom, of rich culture and unique vistas.
Few years and many escapades – escapes - later, wonder remains intact in front of this enchanting, mysterious country, with its so magical light. Here is my attempt to show how one can escape there… and my tribute to a land that is giving me so much.
