This is a Tim Rock coffee table classic.
Indonesia is an amazing part of this Earth. It's Ring of Fire existence features cones of smoldering volcanoes. Its islands stretch far across Indo-Pacific waters. They are surrounded by many current-fed seas. It is believed to be the cradle of marine biodiversity. Nowhere are more odd and unusual creatures found, especially beneath the waves. These seas have kept its cultures and animals isolated in may regions. Throwbacks to the dinosaur, like the Komodo dragon, still roam here. Many unique cultures have also developed and express their uniqueness through art, apparrel and cuisine. I have been fortunate to be able to see and explore many of Indo's regions above and below. The following pages have some of my favorite images of the special people, grand landscapes and amazing ocean beauty that Indonesia has to offer. We start in the east in Bali and move all the way to West Papua, visiting the colorful and the special. This large format coffee table volume has 320 pages and 497 full color photos of the people, land and sea of Indo.
Enjoy the trip.
