Jane is dead.

The afterlife is not how she imagined it to be, with singing angels or monstrous beings. Instead, she has found herself in a bureaucratic middle space with no clue how she came to be there. The amnesiac Jane soon meets Otto, her guide to the afterlife. The two embark on a dark and gruesome venture in the lives, and deaths, of Jane’s loved ones in order to discover the context of her own demise. The non-sequential story of Jane is of heartbreaking tragedies, hope, and resiliency of a woman’s soul. Skimmington is the walk of shame within each of us.
